Lakota Technologies, Inc. (LTI) is a SBA Small Disadvantage Business, and HUBZone certified company that is engaged in Information Technology services to both Governmental and commercial customers.

Through each of these certifications, as well as being minority owned, LTI offers many unique contacting features. As an example, within the Department of Defense (DOD), there is a 5% Indian Incentive Program for Prime Contractors. This program provides the opportunity for a 5% incentive payment for subcontracting with Indian Organizations and Indian-owned Economic Enterprises.

LTI is unique in the fact that it is built on a strong foundation that consists of its experienced management; expert technical teaming partners; trained and dedicated workforce; new facilities; and availability of capital. This foundation provides solid assurance that LTI can perform any task required by customers in related IT services.

LTI also has a workforce training development program which is addressed both internally and externally. Internally, LTI has developed a training component for each service area, with evaluation and regular updating. Externally, LTI is working with the local school systems, which includes a CISCO Training Academy, and the local colleges, as well as the recently developed Community Technology Center. The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, since the early 1990s, has pushed for computer literacy in all reservation school systems. As a result of the combined efforts, LTI has access to a labor force that has basic computer skills, which is the basis for LTI's efforts in call center/help desk services, as well as data entry/conversion.

Additionally, LTI has technical consulting relationships with various large and small IT service businesses that have expertise in the technology services described herein. These consultants provide additional technical support, configuration management and related training for LTI's internal operation.

With regard to LTI's call center/help desk efforts, in 2000 LTI entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGSI), located in Dallas, Texas. Through this MOU, LTI was able to train several individuals through CGSI's Dallas Regional operation in call center specific work.
